Tampa, FL – September 6, 2018 — Florida Orthopaedic (FOI) announced today the formation of Orthopaedic Solutions Management (OSM). OSM, a Management Service Organization, will provide FOI with a new platform for targeted growth.

FOI CEO Joe Gordon said OSM will lead to the kind of controlled, steady growth he promised when named to the position earlier this summer.

“Our MSO will create the right vehicle for all of our Merger and Acquisition activity thru ought the state of Florida and beyond. In addition to M&A activity, the MSO will provide practice management services for other orthopaedic practices. The ultimate goal of the MSO to physician practices is to free the physician from the business of medicine so that they can focus on patient care” said Mr. Gordon.

“This is an exciting time for Florida Orthopaedic Institute and OSM as we look towards expanding our footprint and building upon more than three decades of nationally renowned orthopaedic surgeons, ambulatory surgery centers and clinical expertise.

Mr. Gordon, along with FOI’s Chief Financial Officer, Janene Culumber, will lead OSM. Prior to joining FOI in July, Mr. Gordon worked for nearly 30 years in a variety of senior-level roles in the healthcare and payer organizations. In each of these roles, Mr. Gordon drove business development for the organizations he served.
