About Dr. Smith
Dr. Michael Seth Smith is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine in Sports Medicine. He was born in Dothan, Alabama, and was raised in the small panhandle town of Graceville, Florida. He received his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Florida and his medical degree from the Florida State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine (where he won two teaching awards) and his fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Florida.
Dr. Smith focuses on the nonsurgical management of all musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries, including but not limited to sprains, strains, fractures, dislocations, arthritic conditions, ultrasound guided procedures/injections involving corticosteroids, orthobiologics, and viscosupplementation.
He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the Florida Orthopedic Society, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Smith takes great pride in caring for patients of all ages and activity levels. He enjoys partnering with patients to find solutions to their musculoskeletal problems. He aims to keep patients as physically active as possible despite their musculoskeletal diagnosis and find the best possible solution to allow them to return to their desired activity level regardless of age or medical conditions.
Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He loves hiking trails in the mountains, surfing in the Atlantic, and exploring beautiful golf courses throughout the world.
