About Dr. Wisotsky

Dr. Scott Wisotsky is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in complex hand and upper extremity conditions, including sports related injuries. He sees patients with conditions as rotator cuff injuries, arthroscopic repair and primary and revision shoulder replacement. Other areas of treatment include arthritis, carpal tunnel, trigger finger, and Dupuytren’s disease.

He received his undergraduate at Northwestern University in IL with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. He went on to graduate from George Washington University, School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. He did a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Residency was completed in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Vermont.

Currently, Dr. Wisotsky teaches residents at the University of South Florida School of Medicine. He holds many certifications and memberships:

Dr. Wisotsky takes pride in being meticulous and giving the best quality care. He was raised in Rockville, Maryland. His zest for life includes traveling with his family and exploring new fun-loving adventures.  He loves his dog and is an avid sports fan. Dr. Wisotsky enjoys playing golf and always staying active. He believes in giving back to the community, which is evident in his involvement in many charity fundraisers.
