Q&A

Check out the following interview with Lee Levanduski, chief growth officer, to go behind the scenes of FOI’s website redesign project. His responses—below—have been condensed for length.

Why did Florida Orthopaedic Institute redesign its website?

Levanduski: FOI redesigned its website to enhance patient satisfaction, streamline internal processes, and strengthen our professional image.

By improving functionality and user experience, FOI aims to provide more accurate and accessible information to our patients and referring physicians. This redesign aligns with FOI’s commitment to delivering exceptional care and maintaining a positive reputation within the medical community.

What new features will patients appreciate the most?

Levanduski: FOI’s website update supports our initiative to make accessing personalized orthopedic care easier. To do this, we’ve updated its content (including physician bios) and made it so users can read the site’s copy in English and Spanish.

Also, we’ve added or improved features so you can quickly:

  • search for a location,
  • view the site on a mobile device,
  • submit a form, and
  • request a convenient callback.

What does the team think about the new site?

Levanduski: We’re most excited that the new website makes scheduling appointments more convenient for patients.

What’s next?

Levanduski: We are expanding access to the highest-quality care beyond the Tampa Bay area and bringing all our physician groups under one website.

The practice will use this opportunity to continue developing its mission of training the next generation of physicians and providing patients with state-of-the-art treatments and helpful educational resources on the latest trends in orthopedic medicine in engaging formats, such as videos and podcasts.

Anything else you’d like to add?

Levanduski: Having all of our physicians on one platform with simple online patient intake forms will make it easy for third-party insurance companies to refer to us. The new website highlights FOI’s efficiency and its one-stop-shop approach to expert care.
