About Dr. Reina

David A. Reina, DC, is board certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE). He received his Chiropractic Degree from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Reina completed his three-year postgraduate studies in Clinical Neurology at the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. He completed his Internship in X-ray and clinical proficiency at Life College in Marietta, Georgia and Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Reina has been in private practice since 1989. He was owner and operator of  Gary Pain Control clinic and Reina Chiropractic Center. In 2003 he was hired by Florida Orthopaedic Institute to incorporate chiropractic and manual medicine in an orthopaedic setting.

His special interests are in defining neuromusculoskeletal functional pathologies, noninvasive pain management and restoration of function utilizing manual medicine and chiropractic techniques based on functional and clinical neurology.  Dr. Reina also spearheads the Orthopedic Total Wellness (OTW) program at Florida Orthopaedic Institute utilizing an Integrative Spine Care model developed from the paper written by M M Panjabi : Stabilizing Systems of the Spine. Part1. Function, dysfunction, and enhancement.  He is a preceptor teaching physician for National College of Chiropractic and Palmer College of Chiropractic training future chiropractic students with his unique methodology of chiropractic and manual medicine with a strong emphasis on clinical and functional neurology. 

Dr. Reina has been a guest lecturer on numerous occasions on the topics pertaining to Chiropractic techniques of treatment and non-medicative pain management for pregnant mothers and physiologic indicators of somatic dysfunction to name a few.
