About Dr. Jackson
Dr. Jackson is fellowship-trained and board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He specializes in interventional pain management dealing with the spine. He received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Pennsylvania. Dr. Jackson completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and fellowship in Spine Medicine, both at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Jackson focuses on the diagnosis and nonsurgical treatment options of neck and back pain. He has given presentations nationally on conservative treatment options for patients with low back pain and co-authored numerous publications on injections, including nerve blocks in the spine. Dr. Jackson currently serves as a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the North American Spine Society.

I was recommended by my provider and I said why not, to avoid surgery. Dr Jackson and his team is very professional and assured me the procedures . I have never felt so much better for the past 4 years with back pain that gotten really bad. I have avoided all pain medications and went with just 3 wlth 3 epidural injections, but its not a guarantee fix up. Just need to watch how to manage lifting things, postures is a plus and sitting. I will be doing home stretches and a follow up in 3 months with Dr Jackson or his assistant PA. Thank you Dr Jackson you are truly a life savor!!! Dr Jackson is a true Dr. He listens, he answers your questions in a way that I can understand completely and makes sure that I understand. Polite, respectful, honest, caring, understanding, and direct. All these qualities are very important to me. I really like this Doctor. He actually memorized my chart before he seen me. I felt that he had empathy for me and together we reached a middle of the road plan of treatment. I am leary of surgical options and didn’t believe in physical therapy. He convinced me with his thorough knowledge of anatomy, coupled with his experience. I can always ask questions and it is refreshing to find a doctor who is well read and not defensive when I ask scientific things. Dr. Jackson has information printed out if as a patient you want to learn more about your treatment, exercises or illness. Having seen Dr. Jackson for a while, he actually listened and comes up with ways we may be able to modify treatments, in my case coordinate with other doctors to get the best outcome. Dr Jackson was the first doctor to hear me.. my wants and want nots. I didn't want powerful meds, not my style. I couldn't do PT because I had been in pain for so long I couldn't move. However he got my file to go through my insurance without a hiccup is what I needed some to do and schedule me for some treatment. I now can bend without worry I won't come up. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Jackson! After well over a month of sciatic misery and attempting self treatment and chiropractic care, I presented to FL Ortho Spine. After taking my 90 y/o mother for several visits to other doctors with no remedy, we met with the physician’s assistant whom immediately scheduled us for an mri and epidural for pain to her back. Always have very good appointments with Dr. Jackson and his staff. Everyone is always smiling and very warm. Dr. Jackson and staff do excellent job of listening to my healthcare concerns and properly addressing them. His secretary (Sara) is top notch.
