About Dr. Kilgore
Dr. Kilgore is a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement with a special interest in robotics, minimally invasive techniques, and an enhanced patient experience. He continuously positions himself on the cutting edge of the newest techniques and technologies related to these operations.
As an undergraduate, he attended the University of Florida, followed by medical school at the University of South Florida. He then received his orthopaedic training at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Kilgore served as Medical Director for the Orthopaedic Service Line across the entire BayCare Health System and recently received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the BayCare Awards Committee for his work in pathway development for patient optimization and rapid recovery in patients undergoing surgical replacement of the hip and knee.
He has served as adjunct faculty for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at USF and has worked as a consultant to Stryker Orthopedics, helping teach and demonstrate new techniques to his surgical colleagues.
Dr. Kilgore likes traveling and skiing and enjoys time with his wife and two children pursuing those activities.
