About Dr. Pagano

Dr. Pagano is an Orthopaedic Spine specialist whose practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of all disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Specific interests include adult deformity, minimally invasive spinal fusions, tumor resection and reconstruction, trauma and disc replacement surgery.

Dr. Pagano is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with a subspecialty in Spine Surgery.

Dr. Pagano received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 1991 and received his medical degree at the Ohio State University in 1995. Dr. Pagano completed his internship and orthopaedic residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 2000.

Following his residency, Dr. Pagano performed a two-part Orthopaedic Spine fellowship with Dr. Richard Holt in Louisville, Kentucky and the late Dr. Thomas Whitecloud at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Dr. Pagano continues to use his engineering background as an active medical consultant holding patents in the field of spine surgery. He has also been an instructor in minimally invasive spinal surgery.

Dr. Pagano is a native of the Youngstown, Ohio where he practiced for 13 years until relocating to the St. Petersburg area with his family in 2013.
