About Dr. Bolos

Dr. Bolos is a Tampa Bay area native who grew up in Palm Harbor. She received her bachelor’s degree in biomedical science with a minor in biomedical physics from the University of South Florida, graduating with honors. She earned her podiatric medical degree from Barry University in Miami and completed her forefoot and rearfoot surgical residency at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa, where she served as chief resident. 

Dr. Youstina I. Bolos is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is a member of the American College of Podiatric Medicine and the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons.

She specializes in treating patients with complex wounds using various wound healing modalities. Following residency, Dr. Bolos worked as an attending physician at the James A. Haley VA, treating veterans with intricate lower extremity conditions. She is passionate about helping patients regain mobility and treats every patient as if they were family. 

Dr. Bolos manages all nonsurgical conditions below the knee, ranging from ingrown toenails to complex wound care and unexpected injuries. 

In her spare time, Dr. Bolos volunteers with local nonprofit organizations, exercises, and spends time with her family. She is an avid sports fan, particularly of the Bucs and Lightning teams. Dr. Bolos is also an enthusiastic reader and considers herself a lifelong learner.
