DJO TH Shoulder Presentation

These, there’s the really the top shoulder meeting in the United States and one of the top in the world is the San Diego Shoulder Course. And we always had one doctor, Dr Mark Frankle, the inventor of our, a reverse shoulder prosthesis there. And he would get to speak. Um, the other surgeons would make fun of him because his idea was so outlandish. Um, but he’d get up there and so data and data and more data and more data and more data. And as you, as years went by, everyone figured out that actually he was right and all of the other companies started developing products to try to chase us because our implant was the right implant. And now at this last San Diego shoulder course, you saw a whole flurry of DJO surgeons. You saw key thought leaders, including Dr Frankle, but also Dr Iannotti, head of orthopedics at the Cleveland Clinic, presenting and teaching on DJO shoulders. Really, it is a huge, a huge change over the last years. And this is just beginning. So I thought I’d show you a clip from the San Diego shoulder course. You roll the video.
The last three days have been unbelievable. Lots of learning, a lot of the interchange of ideas. The DJO team is unbelievable to work with. They inspire me. Every person on the team adds something to our ability to take care of patients in what I consider to be the highest possible fashion. And I’m just thrilled to have the team continue to work together to develop new products, education, and new treatments.
