Doctor Profile: Devin W. Collins, DO

Dr. Collins: I’m Devin Collins. I practice hand and upper extremity surgery also microsurgery as well. I treat anything from the fingertip to the wrist, to the elbow and the shoulder. Anything from hand fractures to arthritic conditions, conditions about the elbow. I do wrist arthroscopy, elbow arthroscopy, shoulder arthroscopy. I also do joint replacement surgery of all the joints and any kind of fractures, tendon or ligament injuries.

I treat all patients as if they were a family member. I’m a former athlete, a collegiate athlete, so I take a team-based approach to treating all of my patients. I think it’s very valuable to have everyone involved, from the therapist, to the staff, to radiology, to everyone in the hospital, as well as the surgeon, to make sure that they get the best outcome possible.

What I love about my job is that I get to help patients every day get them back to work. I really enjoy the anatomy of the hand and upper extremity. That’s what made me go into specialize in hand and upper extremity over any other area of orthopedics. You come to Florida Orthopaedic Institute to receive the best care.
